Pumpkin Cookies!!


One of my favorite pumpkin recipes! Only takes about a half a can of pumpkin, and if you don't have all the spices on hand, you can just buy "pumpkin pie spice" if you want to keep it simple.

Combine and set aside:

    * 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    * 1 teaspoon baking powder
    * 1 teaspoon baking soda
    * 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    * 1/2 teaspoon salt

In second bowl--
Cream together:
    * 1/2 cup butter, softened
    * 1 1/2 cups white sugar
Add:
    * 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
    * 1 egg
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Slowly mix first mixture into second.
Drop on greased cookie sheet by tablespoon, flatten slightly.

Bake at 350˚ for 15-20 min.
Drizzle with glaze when cool.

Glaze-- Combine:
* 2 cups confectioners' sugar
* 3 tablespoons milk
* 1 tablespoon melted butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
